Accenture acquires TalentSprint for tech upskilling

Accenture acquired deep-tech education firm TalentSprint from NSE Academy.

The deets: Hyderabad-based TalentSprint, is known for offering cutting-edge programmes in collaboration with top institutions like IITs, IIMs, IIITs, and major tech companies. These include high-impact bootcamps, certifications, and e-degrees in areas like AI, fintech, cybersecurity, and digital leadership all aimed at professionals at various stages of their careers.

As part of the deal, around 210 TalentSprint employees will now join Accenture LearnVantage, the company's dedicated unit for tech learning and talent development.

Why this matters: there’s a massive skill gap in the workforce with rapid changes in AI, automation, and deep tech. By adding TalentSprint to its learning stack, alongside earlier investments in Udacity and Award Solutions, Accenture is building a one-stop solution to train the talent its clients need most.

Zoom out: there seems to be a shift in how global giants view India. The country is not just as an execution centre, but as a core hub for building, training, and exporting tech talent. In short, Accenture is investing in India's brainpower and turning it into a business advantage.
